Flat plated crown, used in 1950's to mid to late 1960's
Cut from a steel sheet with tools. This is a completely flat crown.
Usually, the middle pillar top is placed right to the 00:00 position.
Noted whether this is glue sign when buying. If so, it may be re-glued on dial.

Injection molded crown, used from mid to late 1960's till now
This is made with melted steel pouring into a pre built mold. Hence, the overall shape is more delicate than the flat plated crown. In addition, its edges are smoother.
