Pick perfect condition case quickly!
Application of Light Reflect Line (LRL)
Photo 1: Rolex Submariner 14060M, near perfect unpolished case
a) LRLs in the 4 red circles are near perfect horizontal and not deformed ==> excellent case condition
b) 4 watch legs are closely and tightly joined with the 2 band end links ==> excellent case condition
c) The 4 watch legs surface are clearly higher than the bank end links ==> excellent case condition

Best way to apply the LRL examination:
Place the watch directly under the source of light. The LRLs will tell the case condition honestly. LRL tells whether a case had been polished and at what degree of polishing.
In photo 2, 3 LRLs are seen on the left leg. All are in perfect horizontal and parallel to each other. No deform in shape. Similar situation is seen on the right leg also. These are indicator of excellent case condition.
Additional information: From the LRLs, it can be derived that the case is in near perfect out factory unpolished condition. Readers can check the braised lines on the watch legs. The lines are arranged neatly and there is no overlapping of lines. In fact, the untouched / un-deformed original braised lines are the reason leading to the horizontal LRL.

Another 14060. LRLs were deformed due to polishing. Clearly, the case condition is not that good as per the first Submariner!
