Side case hole as a quick tool to check Case Condition!

Distances between side case hole and case edges are useful to evaluate the case condition. Whether it had been polished and how's the degree of polishing.

Red 1 marks the distance between the top of the case hole and the top of the case leg. The longer the distance, the better the case condition.

Red 2 marks the distance between the case hole and the tip end of the case leg. The longer the distance, the better the case condition.

Comparing the distance 1 and distance 2 of this watch to that of the photo 1. Clearly, they are shorter than that of the photo 1. Conclusion:

a) This watch is relatively thinner than watch of photo 1

b) Leg of photo 2 is shorter than that of photo1

c) the degree of polishing is larger than watch of photo 1

Easier to spot the difference by putting them together
